Quality Policy

J&D McLennan Ltd. is committed to maintaining an adequately resourced Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Integrated Management System (IMS). This policy supports the outcomes of ISO9001:2015 to ensure we consistently meet or exceed customer requirements, meet our legal and other obligations and enhance customer satisfaction through effective application of our quality management system. This policy is aligned with the purpose, size, context and strategic direction of J&D McLennan Ltd.

Our commitments

  • Promote a culture where responsibility, leadership and improvement are rewarded 

  • Ensure that obligations set out by stakeholders, regulators and customers are always identified and satisfied 

  • Drive continual improvement of the IMS and overall quality performance, using up to date data, staff input, customer feedback and audit outcomes to support effective decision making 

  • Provide adequate financial, physical, technical and human resources to establish, implement, maintain, and improve the IMS beyond minimum legal compliance 

  • Use risk-based thinking for planning and implementing processes to prevent issues and to protect business continuity. 

  • Roles within the organisation are assigned, communicated and understood including 

    • Making sure the requirements of ISO9001:2015 are always met 

    • Development of processes and making sure desired outcomes are delivered to ensure customer satisfaction 

    • Carrying out regular training with staff at all levels and ensure that it is understood and applied in the workplace 

    • Reporting quality management performance, using quality objectives set out by top management 

    • Ensuring change management is carried out, maintaining the integrity of the IMS, when changes are planned and implemented.

J&D McLennan Ltd. will use this policy as a framework for setting quality objectives, set out annually by top management and reviewed regularly to remain consistent with organisation’s goals. Top management will demonstrate leadership, aligning business decisions with the requirements of the IMS. 

This policy must be documented, communicated, implemented, maintained and made available to workers and other relevant interested parties, including relevant external parties as appropriate. 

This policy applies to all aspects of the business, including on J&D McLennan Ltd. premises and work carried out off site.

Health and Safety Policy

J&D McLennan Ltd. is committed to maintaining an adequately resourced Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Integrated Management System (IMS) to provide safe and healthy working conditions for all workers, contractors and other interested parties who may be affected by the work we conduct. This policy is aligned with the purpose, size, context and strategic direction of J&D McLennan Ltd.

Our commitments

  • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill-health. 

  • Take all reasonably practicable steps to eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks using a risk-based approach that is consistent with ISO 45001. 

  • Identify our obligations and ensure we fulfil all our legal and other requirements, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, associated regulations, codes of practice and industry and regulatory guidance. 

  • Consult with and seek participation of workers at all levels of the business, and their representatives in the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of health and safety matters. 

  • Promote open communication to make sure that health and safety information is shared, acted upon and feedback is received in a timely manner. 

  • Drive continual improvement of the IMS and overall health and safety performance supported by measurable OH&S objectives and ongoing performance monitoring. 

  • Provide adequate financial, physical, technical and human resources to establish, implement, maintain, and improve the IMS beyond minimum legal compliance.

Environmental Policy

At J&D McLennan, we are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our operations and promoting sustainability. We strive to protect the environment through responsible resource use, pollution prevention, and sustainable practices in all aspects of our engineering and manufacturing processes.

Our commitments

  • Protect the environment 

  • Prevent pollution, responsible resource use and implementing sustainable practices 

  • Reducing its carbon footprint through energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy, and lifecycle impact assessments 

  • Comply with international standards and any legal obligations; and 

  • Work towards continuous improvement.

The objectives we will pursue to satisfy this commitment are

  • Adhere to all relevant environmental laws and regulations and take responsibility for reducing our environmental impact 

  • Minimise waste and use resources efficiently, including energy, water, and raw materials, while maximising recycling efforts 

  • Product designs focus on durability, energy efficiency, and minimizing environmental footprints; 

  • Preventing pollution by reducing emissions, managing waste responsibly, and preventing spills and contamination 

  • Collaborate with suppliers who share our commitment to environmental stewardship, ensuring sustainability throughout the supply chain 

  • Involve all employees in sustainability initiatives through training, awareness, and active participation in environmental practices; and 

  • Regularly review and improve our environmental performance, ensuring our practices evolve with new challenges and opportunities.

 This policy applies to all business operations and functions, on both J & D McLennan premises and off-site.
